I was away for a couple months without internet (oh noes..) and i wanted to see how far dolphin emulation was at. I downloaded the new rev 5056, and everything seemed to work fine except for the controls. I plugged in my controller, and configuring it was a nightmare. The old controller plugins seemed to work fine, and i can't seem to get those to work in the new rev of dolphin. any thoughts?

Depends on the revision and who compiled it, plugins are specific to the version they are compiled with as well. Sometimes some of the plugins may not be included (Such as the "x360 pad" one) so just try one compiled by someone else or try a slightly older one.
