Xbox 360 controller

I am currently playing Pokemon Colosseum (I legally own both of these games gales of darkness and the one I'm mentioning)

My room-mate who recommended Dolphin to me set the controls so that movement is done with our xbox 360 left stick, but anytime I move the stick down it wants to go up, even know its set in the configs to go down

(The controller doesn't do this in my steam games that support the controller)

Any one have any ideas how to fix this, Depad movement works flawlessly, its just very annoying using it.

Another thing that happens is from time to time it moves on its own, like if you set the controller down it'll just walk your chars, I've tried two different controllers (both 360's, a black one and a aftergrow)

I managed to figure out the issue though, but since your a developer you may wanna look at the way the graph analyses the controllers when you press them, what I noticed was, the square was off center even with controllers unplugged and their-forth got the wrong data input.

it took me multiple attempts to get the software to recognize my movement of the sticks correctly but after that, it stopped happening.

I have uploaded a screenshot of my current configs though.
