Well, it will probably use the same engine as 1st Mario Galaxy, it will be emulated I think

it be wonderful if happened like many NDS games . sometimes i could play title X on my DS (backup) before the game being launched in Europe or USA.
anyway if you make 'Mario Galaxy 2' working do ont put it on the news only in the forum , or else nintendo will get very very very angry i am also looking for to playing 'New super mario bross wii' ;D 07-14-2009, 09:28 PM
It's very possible, even likely, that SMG2 will run day 1, but no way to know for sure until it's released.
eljose, careful, that's getting a bit too close to piracy talk. We have rules in this forum for a reason, you know. 07-14-2009, 09:54 PM
when will it come out this year
When I was younger, I hated to go to weddings. Relatives came to me, poking me in the side, laughed and said, "You are the next." They have stopped the crap when I started to do the same for funerals.

it comes next year, unknown when. The game is very finished, they're just pushing it back because NSMB Wii comes this year... just like they did with the first game.
Anyway, personally I hadn't planned on keeping it a secret if Dolphin could run it on day one (I'd want to post a youtube vid ASAP) but if devs have anything against it I wouldn't of course. I think it could be very promotional for Dolphin if one of the first vids of the game was a HD vid from Dolphin.

when i mean 'secret' i mean only for forum users, if you put a video on youtube of a recent game Nintendo would get very mad and would try closing your webpage
as an example , in a page from south America they put a very new Japanese game from SNK , later the snk programmers tried to hack the webpage. Perhaps we should wait a bit to emulate 'Mario Galaxy' ,
I dont think Nintendo cares about this, they are already earning zillions of dollars on casual gamers (-_-), I miss the Nintendo as it was when NGC was their leading platform.

I don't have those kinds of concerns. We're talking a Nintendo 1st party title, I doubt they would try to hack youtube (bad publicity) since what I'd do would be legal there's nothing they could do to excuse them. That South American site you talk about, if they released the game for download however that is illegal which excuses them, though I assume those programmers did the hacking on their own and was not ordered by their company.
