Will the Intel NUC D54250WYK (http://www.logicsupply.com/components/barebones/intel-barebones/d54250wyk1/?gclid=CMbqjoPAo7wCFa9FMgod73IAOQ) run Wii games fine on the Dolphin emulator?

If I'm not mistaken this is an Intel Core i5-4250U which means its an ultra low power CPU (hence 4250-"U") which Dolphin doesn't like.

Just to add a little more depth to cyrax's answer, -U Intel CPU are ultra low voltage CPUs. They're designed to consume less power to generate less heat. The low clock rates often mean all but the lightest of games will even run well.

A lot of people seem to want to have a little box like this capable of running Dolphin (I mean why not, seems awesome to me). But Intel isn't the only game in town. I would definitely look into Gigabyte's Brix models. They have a wider range of available models at different prices. I bought one recently that was cheaper and faster than a comparable Intel NUC. They just came up with some pretty beefy models this past month (sorry, can't link you to any specific recommendation atm).

It will be slow in general for Dolphin, as the others (my respects to you, Shonumi Tongue). Anyway, why not specify the games you´ll play so we can give you even more accurate answers?
Rig 1: Windows 10 Home | AMD A6-1450 @ 600/1000/1400 MHz | AMD Radeon HD Graphics 8250 | 4GB RAM | HP Pavilion TouchSmart 11.

Rig 2: Windows 10 Pro | Intel Core i7-2640M @ 780/2800/3500 MHz | Intel HD 3000 Mobile | 8GB RAM | Dell Latitude 6320.

If I'm not mistaking, that CPU is slower then mine, right? Do you have to have a U Cpu? If not you could find better performance. Also it depends if you're playing Super Mario Galaxy or a light-weight game.
i3-4000m Intel Hd 4600

I bet I'm the only person you know who'll play Dolphin at 1X resolution.

Maybe some FPS in difference, no more.

Yeah. Do you have to have the small form factor box though? We could find you a desktop for Dolphin that would work pretty well for cheap. Like a i3 fourth gen Cpu would be good.

i3, while being a little faster than that model, it´s not a good option for performance (unless you´re short in budget).

Post your budget. We can help you find a good selection of parts if we know you need a small box computer or a beefy desktop. DJBarry you're correct, just assuming he's on a budget.
