I know it can be ran via android, but I would prefer to not have to go through several layers, especially as the android version is inferior. From my (admittedly sparse) knowledge of architectures, it should be possible to natively compile dolphin for the switch, but I'm not 100% sure.
Would it be feasible to compile dolphin for the switch?

I'm not aware of any reasons why it can't, but I can think of a couple reasons why it would be slower.
AFAIK, homebrew can only use Nouveau drivers, which means OpenGL is slower than the proprietary drivers and no Vulkan at all. Also, the 2091MHz CPU patch isn't really public for HOS (switch OS), so it can only reach 1785MHz. 2091 is 17% higher. |
