Sorry to interrupt guys , but I just bought a X48 motherboard , and I feel like I m gonna keep all my setup in the future as I dont feel any slow down with my Q6600 atm ! Plus this chipset has 2 X16 pci express à 16x each ! So i'll just have to wait for the new 5xxx series from ATI !( honnestly this motherboard is the most future proof stuff I bought(130 euros) , and my almost 3 yo CPU )

So as I always said , keep your stuff if you have an intel Chipset because sooner or later i3 are coming !
Pentium G2120 Ivy Bridge 3.1Ghz
8GB 1333 DDR3
ASUS 560 TI CU2 TOP
Crucial M4 64Gb

I've put together this system:

Would activating the turbo mode (2 cores) gain speed on Dolphin, probably a lot right? Smile

Seems fine , except this motherboard , that looks too small for me , I mean to OC , small motherboard are not tha great + When you buy a 200 euros CPU , you need a good motherboard ! I m not saying it s Crap , but , your CPU deserves a better MB !

My budget sucks and since PC parts are pretty expensive here it's annoying. The i7 860 is good for stockers and i7 920 for overclockers so it seems to be fine. I am not sure yet.

so you see what I mean !

It s a bit a shame to use such a CPU on that motherboard !

Try something like ASUS P7P55D its going to be 125 euros but definitely better !

Since when did size matter? It overclocks just fine.

I r conf00sed. Smile No but seriously, is it a good motherboard or what for non-overclocking and IF I want to overclock I can buy a Mugen 2 right? Or any other good quality cooler.

yes that makes perfectly sense.

What RAM would you prefer and ugh, I want the 4890, maybe I'm going for the 4870 though because of ATI's DX11 cards. Smile Oh and I can't build a PC so yea. Smile Orrr I'm going with the i5 750, Idk.
