Even an overclocked 2600XT is nowhere near the speed of a 9800gt. Even a 2900XT is easily beaten by an 8800gt/9800gt.

No but it will in dolphin, which is what we're talking about. And you should really really really really do a lot more research about dolphin before you assume too much.

i think you need to read his first post. you should really really really read the original post before posting a reply. put it in bold for you. I am not just upgrading for Dolphin but for other games as well.

naw i dont flame on forums i have a life and a kid on the way i joined the forums to help people and to find answers to my dolphin linux build issues. not to ONE UP people like some people try to do. have a good day and good luck with your setup AVFC2012.

The GTX 460 1gb will do 1080p with 3x efb scale on most games. Check out this thread to get a slight hint of what you're getting. There are benchmark of the GTX 460 768MB and 1GB version.
