So, I've been looking around and I noticed that alot of people are saying that there is a new 64bit version of the NVIDIA shield tablet is coming out and it'll be able to run almost any GC game at full speed.
I bought the 32bit version a couple of weeks ago and although it's a great tablet and I can emulate alot of other platforms. Dolphin can boot up games like Animal Crossing but they're WAY too slow to play, running at like 1fps or something.
Did I just waste quite a bit of my money cos when I bought this tablet, as much as it sounds stupid, I really wanted to emulate GC games badly.

Do not use software renderer but opengl, you shouldn't be getting such low fps with opengl.

I've been using that the whole time but since it was running so slow, I just assumed it was something like 1fps. It's really around 20-40 ingame. Still slow as hell though and the audio is all messed up. Dunno if that's the rom or what.

It can't run any games full speed, just a few games at playable speed, and one or two at full speed.

And the Tegra K1 64bit definitely won't run all games full speed, just some.

At this stage there is no way to know whether the 64-bit K1 will deliver on the potential performance improvements.

They are using in-order compiling, which has been done before but never previously been able to solve some of problems inherent to that architecture type. If Nvidia do it right it could be something special, but as of right now we don't know that in general, much less with Dolphin.
