Well, I bought a knockoff wiimote+nunchuck from ebay from a seller with the nickname "motel268" and it works fine on Dolphin. About 19$

DE probably has the largest collection of wii accessory knockoffs online, at low prices. Read comments before buying anything though, to get a clear picture of the product.

Also, I've read that windows doesn't recognise all un-official wiimotes in BT devices. It seems like a gamble, but I've tried 2 official ones and 1 unofficial, never had a problem with Dolphin.

They (Hongkong and Jap knock-off/DE) work for me, it rather looks to me that u "might" have an incompatible bt dongle/radio.
Wiimotes are in general not 100% fully bt compliant devices, even if u can pair it up.. it's still no guarantee that it also might work further on.
And saying it "doesnt" work wont help any1, until u state at what point it fails.
Like i said, only cuz the real wiimote might work @pc it doesn't mean the knockoff must also work via the same bt dongle/radio.
Btw i can CONFIRM that the black knock off wiimote from dealsextreme works!!
I know two ppl that have one from @dealsextreme - black wiimote/nunchuk - it's working with dolphin. Like i said either it's ur bluetooth dongle or its simple an user error.

Try using bluesoleil software, that's what I'm using.

well unfortunately i sold it now...

i obught a knockoff BT doncgle indeed, and had no problem with official wiimotes
with that wiimote, i could pair up, start the game , the contraoller set as player 1, but when it was time to use the wiimote, the game just freezes (tried on all sorts of revs 4770 , 5XXX)

unfortunately i can't use bluesoleil because i already uses it for a trial a long time ago, and all versions i found on the internet where virused -_- i'll reformat soon

i think i'll try to buy an official one, but the thing is trying to find some cheap ones

i wonder if it's not a dolphin issue, do you think it could be possible to prevent dolphin from looking the ids of wiimotes so that unofficial wiimotes properly work ?
