Hey there,

This is my first time in a forum, so I apologize in advance if I open an already existing Thread or something like that.

My problem is very simple and I hope, that there is a quick solution.
I am using Dolphin 4.0.2 at this moment and I try to play Monster Hunter Tri with an JNC Digital PS2 Controller (like this:  http://www.gamesgarage.nl/files/2870/products/3731372/dsc_2421.jpg  ) combined with an ps2 to USB adapter, but whenever I start the Game, it doesn´t recognize any Input. It not even recognize any input from the keyboard after changing the gc-pad settings (other device + refreshing, etc),too. The game itself works perfectly. I tried other Dolphin versions (even the developerversion), I tried, changing the gc-pad settings while the game is running, but nothing helps. The clue is, in the gc-pad settings the buttons glow up, when pressing a button on the controller or (after device changing and refreshing) the keyboard buttons.

I Also tried supporting programms like Motionjoy oder xpadder for the controller, another controller (ps3), I searched google up and down, I searched this forum after this problem but I found nothing or I´m just a blind hen, trying to find my grain^^

that´s kind of funny, because in the past that game already worked with a ps2 controller or keyboard on my PC. I used Dolphin only as an amateur, so if you have any solutions, that needs higher knowledge, please be tolerant with me  Angel

Monster Hunter Tri doesn't support GameCube controllers. I suggest configuring a Classic Controller instead, because it has a very similar button layout.

Oh thanks a lot JosJuice, I would´ve never come to this realisation alone^^ Now it works
For those, who might have the same issue:
I selected under wiimote-> wiimote1 "emulated Wiimote" , then I went into "configure" and set just the Extension to classic and configured the buttons, then it works

Thank you very much again. Now I just have to configure the graphics...MHT is a bit too milky IMO. Let see, what I can find in the forum^^
Thread can be /closed I suggest

I already tried that, and MHT had heavy graphicbugs. Maybe I could configure some graphic-options, but as I said: I´m just an amateur in matters dolphin and now the game works fine on 4.0.2, this is enough for me Smile
