Wondering why I can't use my DS4 wireless

Hey guys so I downloaded Dolphin last weekend to play smash melee with some friends. I ran I to a problem with my computer not being able to detect 4 controllers wired. So I bought a usb Bluetooth adapter and now when I've set up all my settings through ds4windows and binded everything to the proper keyboard commands when I open smash with it I can use the keyboard no problem to scroll the menu and what not but for some reason my controller that should be doing exactly what my keyboard is, is doing nothing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
