Background: There are guys out there who claim that WM+ in Dolphin kinda works but on the real Wii it's much much better.

So is there any chance we could clarify if dolphin Wiimote + Emulation is really as good as the original or if it's lackluster? I didn't notice a difference for Zelda so far but I'm not too sure. I thought about buying WiiSports Resort but only if WM+ is supported as good as on the Wii, other than that it makes no sense. So maybe someone knows some details about that?

Is there any reason why WM+ could be worse or is it just that those guys have a faulty setup?

For me, I was as good at frisbee in Wii Sports Resort on Dolphin as I was on the real hardware.

Wii Sports Resort is running at full framerate for me. I am not sure if that affects things.

Both, yes: I don't say it's worse, other people say that...

I think it's a game-specific problem, so whether you use Dolphin or the Wii, you'll get the calibration problem. One time, I had to recalibrate the (gold) wiimote+ for a chick who worked at the video game booth --- I eventually played Skyward Sword with her for a while just to make sure the controls are fine.

Some people won't notice it --- I guess they are stupid or something.

I think I do know now why some people complain about the WM+ controls on Dolphin. I guess they are probably using their Monitor instead of the TV which means that they are much closer to the screen. I just tried that and my WM+ get's constantly misaligned and movements aren't as precise. So it's actually not a Dolphin problem but more of a Wii-Tech problem.
