So I finally got my Razer Epic Naga. It is the greatest purchase I have ever made. It's seriously that good. Go get one. Was on sale for $109 at amazon last week and I snatched it right up. Worth every penny.

One question though is:

Should I leave the battery in the mouse if I mostly plan on using it wired?

It is both wired and wireless. It has a battery in it and a wireless receiver/charger. You simply take the cord out of the mouse and plug it into the receiver/charger and BAM! wireless mouse. While it's plugged into the wire directly though that also charges it. But I'm not sure if leaving the battery in if I plan on using it wired all the time will damage the battery in the long term or not.

If the FPS is erratic, this option may help.

Wired = battery out
Wireless = battery in

Simple, only use the battery when using the mouse as a wireless one.
