ok i made a usb sensor bar heres how ....
I bought a wireless sensor bar off ebay .
Then took it apart ....
*NOTE DO NOT RUN MORE THEN 6 IRS OFF ONE USB SLOT, INSTEAD GET A USB/AC POWER ADAPTER.
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
1.) Then you simply follow the wires that are connected to the ends of battery connectors.
2.) There should be two , one for + and one for - ( These wires should goto the IR CHIPS )
ex. the wires that go from the +,- to the left and right IR Chips
3.) Cut both of those wires ( there should be two )
*NOTE ONLY USING BLACK AND RED WIRES FROM USB CABLE*
4.) Once cut , get a usb cable u no longer wish to use for USBING and cut the end that doesnt have the usb connecter on it ( for a longer cable, cut 2 usb cables )
4a.) If you cut 2, cut both ends of ONE of the cables .
4b.) Strip the endsBLACK AND RED WIRES ONLY
4c.) On both cables, leaving one cable with both sides stripped and the other cable with one side stripped and a usb connector) >------< AND THEN >-------E looks something like that
4d.) You will notice the usb cable has 4 wires , you only need red and black
4e.) Connect the two Cables ... Black to Black, Red to Red then saudder or twist and electrical tape them . >------<>-------E Should be similar to this when complete .
5.) Connect the Black wire to the left IR CHIP and Red to the Right IR Chip , and then plug the usb cable and turn on the sensor bar .
6.) If step 5 doesnt work ... reverse the wires putting the Black wire on the right side and Red wire on the left .
* Your simply completing the electrical circuit , Power in one way and comes back around to the source .
7.) Once you have found the correct order, make a maker ( ie. tape or something removable) on which side is which and disconnect the Usb cable wire from the Sensor Bar.
8.) Get a Small Drill bit and make a hole large enough to feed the usb wire through and reconnect the usb cable to the sensor bar
9.) If possible sauder all fresh wires , if not twist the ends and eletrical tape everything very well .
10.) Put the sensor bar back to together .
* Make sure the lights are coming on, on the sensor bar before putting it back together.... Test in Dolphin
On a level of 1 to 10 this was a 4 or 5 difficulty .
After your done u will have a WORKING USB SENSOR BAR or a broken wireless sensor bar .... but probably a working one lol
