It occurred to me that since I don't have money to buy a wireless sensor which is powered by batteries, nor to I have two candles-- meant to simulate the "MI" lights of the sensor bar, what do you guys think about me hooking up my Wii + non-cordless sensor bar I DO have, but using it like I would use the candles (I.E- Positioning it over my laptop)?

I kinda think it would work, I mean it simulates what the candles would do right, and it powers the sensor bar on which is how the cordless would be with batteries? Opinions please and thanks, my Wii is packed away and the TV I'm using currently doesn't have the visual and audio plugs so I'd rather not try the test unable to see what I'm clicking on.

Any real sensor bar will be more reliable than candles, wherever it gets its power from.
