Hi everyone, I am planning on playing GC games with a wireless GC controller, is this possible with Dolphin? If so, which wireless controllers are recommneded. I've done some research and I came across the Wavebird which is wireless but I dont know if this is acceptable or operational, plus the price on these are pretty steep as well. Any information will be fine. Thank you.

Just FYI you'd still need an adapter to use it...

You would need an adapter to plug the other adapter into the PC. You can't just plug a GC controller into the PC, and the wireless ones won't just connect wirelessly (Hmm, I dunno if that is a word XD) either.

Well, you said the controller came with an adapter, that is how it will connect "wirelessly" you still however need a way to plug that adapter into the PC. I will admit that I have purposely not been telling you what kind of adapter you need since I have no experience in buying any.

Ok I see now, the only one I've done research on was the Wavebird which is an official one from Nintendo if I'm not mistaken, but I dont know how good are others. And as far as adapters go I'm not too informed on it either, I will need to research online and see. Thanks!

The WB is by far the best ( period ) Also not many adapters support the WB. Follow my link to one that does or search for raphnet he makes the same adapters I do.

Yeah well some times your have to pay to get what you want Wink If you want a cheaper wireless option you can try this.
http://www.raphnet.net/electronique/exte...dex_en.php

Basically you pass the GC thru the wii mote. You would have to some how get the GC config screen to use the wii extension classic controller, since that is how the controller is mapped. I dont know if that possible?
