Sounds quite possible. Is it in fact?

If a wireless 360 controller worked, why not a guitar hero 360? I don't see the difference, to be honest.

If you can make it appear in the OS as a directinput/xinput device, Dolphin can use it in emulated wiimote mode. You just set the connected extension to "guitar" and bind the controls one by one.

I have no idea how functional latency wise that is but I don't see why it wouldn't be usable.

If he means the 360 guitar, then I think it's smooth sailing. Rather vacation in Mosul 6 months ago with a cardboard sign that says "Tourist" than mess with Bluetooth Wii controllers at all.

I'm doing the same thing with my PS3 GH5 guitar, works flawlessly don't even need external programs as it just get detected as a controller by Windows... No input lag found that cannot be solved in GH calibration.
The PS3 Guitar is nothing but a controller with a DPAD, START SELECT buttons, an analog axis for the Whammy and 5 buttons.

I also have an "offbrand Chinese" USB Guitar with a selection for PS2, PS3, XBOX360, PC, Wii and has a selection button for RB and GH. That thing even works flawlessly in USB passthrough and works without any issue on Wii as well, it actually changes the whole driver that gets loaded when I change to a different console.
Check my profile for up to date specs.
