Wired Xbox one issue - Xinput selected, but still doesn't work

Any help is greatly appreciated, been working on this for hours...

I select xinput but dolphin still does not recognize the controller. Everything appears to be fine with the controller elsewhere, and it works in joy.cpl

From that screen seen in that attachment you'll need to click each individual button next to the corresponding letter, for instance a and b. You will then press the correct buttons on the wired xbox controller to map the buttons and analog sticks. Map each button and analog sticks the same way. After each button you map you should be able to press the button on the controller and you should see the button being highlighted in red below. Same goes for the analog sticks, you should be able to move the stick around and see it move around on screen.
