Hello

I wanted to ask what I could do to improve the performance of windwaker on the 4.0.2 x64 version of dolphin, because the framerate always drops down from 30 to 15-18, which is no enjoyable.

I hope the german words are not too irritating  Angel

You should update to the newest development version of Dolphin and then change DSP emulation to DSP HLE.

I have some similar specs in my laptop (except the gpu XD), which are:
Intel i5-4210U @1.7GHz 2.4GHz
Nvidia GT 840M
8 GB DDR3 RAM
With these I can play perfetcly at 1080p and even with more enhancements like MSAA. But I have one trick: If you play in Exclusive Fullscreen mode and (while Wind Waker is running) you open your Graphics settings; it somehow gives you a boost in performance. I think that it is because it resets the graphics configuration.
I hope it could help you! Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin Big Grin

By opening the graphics settings while the game is running, you reset all the default settings found in game INIs. Doing this may break some of the game's graphics, as the settings are there in the game INIs for a reason. I highly recommend you don't do this, unless you want a speed boost that badly.

Here, you disable fastdepth. The game is still playable, but you get some artefacts at the waves.

Thanks for all your help, it's running perfectly fine now, at least for me.
