Windows Real Remote Connection Issues

Hello. I have searched many a thread and have not found a problem quite like mine. My wiimote is recognized by my computer and I can connect with it without using a pairing code. It then proceeds to appear in my bluetooth devices menu in Windows 7 64bit. I am using the windows bluetooth stack. This process has worked before as I have used my laptop and wiimotes with this computer.

The issue is that, as you can see in the picture, the icon for the Nintendo controller is grayed out, or faded. I don't know what this means. Is it inactive? Or unusable? I have switched wii motes to see if this was the problem.

Now with it grayed out, I moved on to Dolphin 3.0 v235 and attempted to go through the basic real wiimote setup. To no avail. I then attempted to pair up my wii motes. No success. I did many steps and different things but nothing seemed to work.

My question is, does anyone know what the faded icon means? And how do I solve my problem? Also does 3.0 successfully connect to wiimotes all the time?

Thank you for your time,

S

If anyone has this issue alongside me I finally figured it out! Go in to your device manager and locate the Microsoft Bluetooth Enumerator and make sure that is is enabled. This solved my problem immediately.

Thanks

Time for some gaming!
