I guess I'm one of the few suckers who fell for Windows 8 eventually but then again I'm a Microsoft fanboy, always have been and alawys will be so you can't talk sense into me.

If Sinofsky's replacements want to keep their job they'll do something different and I don't think it will be moar metro.

The person who is replacing Sinofsky (Julie Larson-Green) was one of the driving forces behind the Metro UI. She's essentially getting promoted, probably to bring more Metro :p

I now kind of want to sneak into Microsoft in the future and swap all windows 9 disks they're going to sell for ones which will behave exactly like vanilla windows 9, until after one week after launch, when any attempt to use the metro UI on a non-touchscreen device will load up metro: last light, and force the user to play it.
