It is funny to mention but is little off topic. Many people that i have talk to and didn't like Vista is becouse they didn't know how to turn off account menager (and actualy toughed that the windows doesn't allowed them to install programs). So in fury they throw away Vista disc and get back to god old XP. Like I said, not idiot friendly. Sorry if i offended anyone (and sorry for my bad English).

OK. I can accept that if you tell me why? The only thing that i'm missing in Vista is "up" button in windows explorer. Give me some real reasons.
Well personally I can say I've been very happy with my computer's performance with Vista, but my PC is leagues above the last one where I had XP, so they couldn't be compared. Now with Win7 I am seeing higher performance, but it's not a quite fair compare either, since my Win7 is 64-bit while Vista is 32-bit. Most new features are basically annoying though, untill you get used to them
(like dragging a window to the top of the screen activates fullscreen, did it unintentioanlly all the time at first) EDIT: This was my post nr. 666 yay
Specs: intel i5 3570k @ 3.4GHz;
16Gb RAM; Raedon HD 7900; Win8 64-Bit
windows 7 M$ add's small upgrades that are for both Vista and 7.
Ahhh the placebo effect

If Dolphin could run on it, I'd recommend Windows 98. Did what I wanted it to, rarely hung for me and played Rayman 2, Swat 3, Rainbow six 2 and ePSXe like a charm so I no longer had to wait for my little brother to finish playing Buzz lightyear on the PSone so I could use it.

it has to be Windows XP and greater, cuz you can't run DirectX9 on Windows 98 and i believe that there's no drivers that for Windows 98 that supports OpenGL 2.1

If I was to choose which OS I prefer I'd choose Windows 98 xD
Anyway, I'm on Vista now and I have maximal performance out of it, not sure why all people are talking shit about it. SP2 is a great update for it 'cause I don't need any Bluesoleil now (joke, there are more cool things) (10-30-2009, 07:40 AM)KHRZ Wrote: This was my post nr. 666 yay Go to hell you evil... 10-31-2009, 12:11 AM
