on the contrary, it comes with DX11 which , just like DX10 , isn't backwards compatible with alot of DX9 stuff
Because absolutely nothing uses DX11 yet? There's no reason not to include the very latest versions of DX9 and DX10 as they are widely used these days. I hope it's something the include in the release of the OS, or at the very least start adding DX updates to Windows Update.
