Hi All,

I've been using Windows 10 for the past 4-5 months. It's great except every time there's a new build I have reboot Windows without drivers enforcement, update my bluetooth drivers with the hacked Toshiba drivers and then hide Windows Important Broadcom driver update to keep it from overriding the Toshiba drivers.

I've ran into a snag with this last part. The new build does not have the old Windows Update and the new metro windows update doesn't allow you to hide updates. Everything gets installed automatically.

To fix this I had to hack the Windows registry to bring back the old Windows Update interface and then hide it. I don't know how long that ability will last - any other ideas how to fix this?

This sounds more like a Windows issue then a Dolphin issue to me.
I think you're among the few that actually uses Windows 10 right now and I think you would be better off asking this in a Windows forum or something.

Sorry I couldn't be much of help but I doubt you'll find anyone that could answer your question here since Windows 10 isn't even out yet and there isn't many that uses preview builds as their regular desktop OS.

I'm not on 9926 yet, so I can't weigh in as to what's going on with Windows, but that definitely something you should send in feedback for.

But it could be that they're not planning to include the old Windows Update platform at all and go all in for a metro one.
However since it's just a preview build, not everything is done yet.
Either the OP can be patient, or send feedback or just use another version of Windows in the mean time.

OK, I sent feedback but I won't receive anything from Microsoft with a response. I'll open a thread on Windows support forum and keep this thread updated with future information.
