Hello, my name is Abraham and this is my first post. A greeting to all. I don't understend because The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker is very slow in my computer. The speed emulation is 60 or 70% and the game speed is very slow. 20/22FPS

The game is a PAL Version.

I change a lot of settings and see very guides but the game is very slow. This is my hardware and software:

Intel® Core™2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz
AMD ATI XFX 6870 1Gb GDDR5
4Gb Ram DDR3
Dolphin 4.0 (Before I test the 3.5)
Ubuntu 13.04

My settings in the emulator are this:
All settings by default (The speed is the same in all resolutions)
OpenGL
EFB copy to Ram ( I read this in the wiki of dolphin)
Audio LLE ( I read this in the wiki of dolphin)

Please, I need your help. I've tried everything but the game speed is unplayable. I can try all your suggestions

Sorry for my English, its very bad, and thanks for a lot.

Your cpu is too slow for efb copy to ram and LLE audio. You will need to overclock. Fortunately the q6600 is a good overclocker.

I can not believe, but it's true. I believed that the rate speed was dependent of the graphics card.
In this moment my bios was to default but i I had an overclocking profile saved to 3gh. I've enabled and the speed is in 90/100%

Thankyou, the speed it's ok now.

Again, sorry for my horrible English and thank you for all Wink

Indeed. EFB to RAM and LLE use the CPU, not the GPU.
