I'm playing LOZ Wind Waker, and I'm at the prison Island, and for whatever reason, My game starts at 100% then slows down to half that. Any way to fix this?

Specs: I3 2310M (2.10ghz)
Nvidia Gt 540m
4Gb DDR3 RAM 1336Mhz
Windows 7 64 Bit
Dolphin 3.0-201

If it slows down to exactly half speed, vsync may be to blame. Try disabling vsync in both the Dolphin Graphics options and your Graphics Driver options. Basically, vsync synchronizes your game speed to your monitor refresh rate, so that games will only run at exactly 60Hz, 30Hz, 20Hz, 15Hz, etc. This means that if full speed is 60fps, but your computer can only handle say 58fps, it will run at 30fps (half speed). The purpose of vsync is to eliminate screen tearing, but it can slowdowns like this if you cannot run the game at full speed.

settings are okay (just uncheck "Disable Fog"). Your CPU is the problem I guess, it's not powerful enough.

Or just use Dolphin 3.0 that is excellent for Zelda WW.
And do you get slowdowns only in this part of the game or in other parts too?

Agreed. If it happens each time and is consistent for the entire game (and other games) your CPU may be overheating and throttling to protect itself). Check your temperatures. You may be surprised how quickly it will heat up without proper cooling.
