Wind Waker Slowdown on hit

So, I downloaded dolphin the other day, and the first game that I downloaded was the wind waker. Everything runs fine, up until I land a hit on something. Every time I get a hit, or something hits me, it skips a few frames and the audio cuts for about a half second. Does anyone know what's going on or how to fix it?

@neobrain - You did see that the OP says he/she downloaded a game right? Or did you just want someone else to deal with this?
