I'm trying to advance in the whole pictograph quest with the first mission of taking a pictograph to the guy with the mustache in windfall sending a letter through the postbox. I take the picture correctly and then go to show this to Lenzo the pictograph guy, but he says the picture is wrong when it's taken clearly, so I can't advance. I'm following youtube videos as a reference but I've taken pictures exactly the way some people are doing it and it just won't work. Also there's a treasure chart that you get with showing a pic of Lenzo talking to a lady and then you have to show this to the gossip ladies outside but they tell me that it's a nice picture and nothing happens when they should give me a treasure chart. Anyone knows what's going on or if this is a dolphin or a rom issue?

By the way I'm using 4.0-1569, it happened with a more recent revision too but because I have the save states in this one, I deleted that revision and I'm sticking with this one. That other revision was 1778.

It isn´t a Dolphin issue at all, it should be something you´re not doing right, I don´t think it´s a bad dump either. Take into account there´s a very specific moment in which you should take the photograph, also, the big guy will tell you WHO you have to photograph, there are a total of 3 people i think but you have to follow the order in which he tells them to you
The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world.

Make sure you have EFB2Ram on, that's required for the pictobox quest.

I'm pretty sure I'm taking the pictures correctly. Actually, I just discovered something. If I take the picture using D3D backend the guy won't accept my pictures, but if I take the picture using Opengl he will accept them. I'm using EFB to texture in both Opengl and D3D, and I just finished the quest with Opengl. It's just that I can't get rid of the screen tearing that comes with Opengl even with vsync on, so I usually stick with D3D.

It has to be a dolphin bug because all the pictures I took with Opengl were all accepted at the first try, while in D3D I took like ten pictures and none of them were accepted.

Oh, I re-did the whole quest with a save state I had and with EFB to RAM, this made the quest work with D3D.

This is why you don't ignore the INI file included with Dolphin. It defaults EFB2Ram on, if you open the graphics settings and adjust it, that's at your own risk.
