No I meant don't pay any attention to kazaazak12, sorry if that was unclear.

Ah, oh, sorry. My issues don't have a solution you can give me so I am posting them for the devs benefit at this point... was mostly hoping for a solution to the smoke problem. I got through Forsaken Forest with 2.0 32-bit and went back to 6441 64-bit and haven't had a crash since, but haven't done the next dungeon yet, but spent hours of tedium at sea. Too bad save states are so incredibly unstable (they usually cause the game to freeze at some random point after loading) so I can't use them to protect against random crashes.

Another issue.. I got the Deluxe Pictograph, and it would appear that I have it, it says I have it, the pictures appear to be in color.. but the game doesn't recognize them in color (i.e. for the heart piece where you have to take a picture of a chick and show it to a dude to get them together, he refused it as if it was in black-and-white -- the Nintendo Gallery wouldn't take them either.) I went to cheats and selected "have deluxe pictograph" and viola, no more problem.. again SVN 6441.

Oddly enough it stopped crashing with 6441 64-bit taking pictographs, but still stalls out for like a minute, and usually presents them initially in black.

If you want the devs to know just open an issue report about it: http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/issues/list

The devs don't check the forums.

Links shadow flickers in Zelda WW, latest rev 64 bit and dx9 plugin. anyone know this? In the dx11 plugin, some textures are blurry.

Make sure pixel depth is checked. That should fix it. And don't use d3d11 for this game.

Done, tx, and closed a few Tales of Symphonia old issues.

Quote:First and foremost, there is a problem with smoke/heat effect. In normal fire smoke (lanterns, torches, etc), things get distorted/reflected in the heat effect. In the Dragon Roost Heat, it is insane, it looks like the screen is being torn apart with sharp edges rather quickly.
If widescreen hack is on, turn it off. It is good at many locations but broken at some.
And just stick with Directx 9. It is nicer and has better performance. Your computer can easily play at much higher resolution than 800x600. Enable EFB to texture always boosts 5-10 FPS for me.

I doubt your reports could change anything because most of us played WW nearly perfect.

There already is an open report on the heat effect problem, and it's cause is AFAIK already known. If there is a solution it's a mystery to me, and others, and believe me I tried. I am not using the widescreen hack. EFB->RAM is also AFAIK required to fix certain issues.

I will try Dx9, but I have had some glitches with it and other games, and I didn't notice any difference in performance when I was trying it for the heat problem.
