I was playing Zelda: The Wind Waker EU yesterday, no problems at all. Today I tried to play again, but when I boot the game, the emulator crashes.
It does not happen with other games, and I didn't change anything at all.

I have both the US and the EU versions, and the US works perfectly, but the EU (which is the one that was playing) crashes on boot.

Any other game runs perfectly.

I need to run the EU version because my wife can't understand english and I'm not always around to translate.

Thanks

Does it work with the latest build (5.0-622 right now) of Dolphin? If that doesn't work, does the 5.0 stable version run WW correctly?

First, check the MD5 of your EU WW iso. I can't remember exactly where it is, but it must be somewhere when right-clicking the game and select Game Proprieties. The MD5 must match this one : http://www.gametdb.com/Wii/GZLP01

I'm on Dolphin 5.0-321 because it came with ProjectM and NetPlay configured right away and WW EU was being played there, but I have the latest official build and it runs okay there, it seems.
The MD5 is correct.

The data on the memory card is lost.

I guess she'll have to play on the official build all from the start, and I'll play on the preconfigured one for online matches.

It still puzzles me why on the PM version, the US WW works perfectly fine, and yet, the EU doesn't.

If the problem is that the US save data doesn't work on the EU version, that's solvable. Open the GCI of the save file in a hex editor and change the fourth byte to P (to match the game ID), then put it in your EU memory card.

Maybe a very dumb question but, did you copy the memory card from the PM build to the latest?

The PM build has portable.txt which means that memory cards are saved in Dolphin application folder. With the latest version, they're saved on your documents.
