Wind Waker Cavern Heat Issue

In Wind Waker in the first cavern (The Valoo dragon cavern )

When I go in the cavern, the heat effect makes everything look strange.

By strange I mean, the image becomes disjointed and seems to rip and tear everywhere.

Is there a fix for this, or a version that doesnt have this issue?

Is there a way to stop it from rendering this effect at all?

I have the same issue here. And a double image effect of burning torches.

i have the same exact issue i would be very happy if someone could tell me how to fix it

you can't fix it. Thats how it is right now. Either ignore it or play on your wii

Are there many parts in the game where such "heat effects" are used ?
I can live with one dungeon having those, but if there are many more.... i might buy a gc on ebay

there's indeed only the vulcano dungeon which uses this heat haze alot,
no problems for finishing the game good luck!
