Looking to get an ASUS G751JM laptop (i7-4710MQ, GTX860m), would it be enough to play wii games in 1xIR? Things like Brawl and Wario Land Shake it?

You'll be able to hit 3x IR easily. Thats a gaming laptop with a Haswell CPU and a dedicated heatsink and fan for the GPU. All games except for the most demanding will play fullspeed.
