Hello everyone firstly i want to greet the Dolphin forums community as I am a new member and introduce myself Smile, secondly I wanted to see if I could get some support as to whether I will be able to run a certain game on the emulator. I have been playing The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker on the emulator no problem and wanted to try out a Wii game which is Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of a New World. Below I will leave my system specs thank you all for your support Smile

CPU: Intel core i5 3570k 3.40GHz
GPU: Nvidia GTX 550 Ti
RAM: 8GB 1600MHz
Windows 7 64bit
The right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world.

Your system should be able to run the vast majority of games perfectly fine, though there are a handful you'll need to overclock that 3570K for.

I'm not sure why everyone is trying to beat up HLE Audio, but in it's defense it seems to have gotten better. Most Wii/GC games run fine with it, and that is good for me.

I think LordVador is trying to point out that HLE audio is no longer asynchronous. You need to get fullspeed in order to get decent audio (unless you want to use OpenAL and timestretching). However, it should be noted that the requirements to get fullspeed under HLE audio in comparison to LLE audio are significantly lower for a number of games. HLE audio has become a bit more demanding in respect to getting perfect audio (for systems that couldn't get fullspeed already that is), but it's nowhere as CPU intensive as LLE audio :p

That said, the i5-3570K will run both HLE and LLE audio great. The GTX 550 Ti is a decent, though aging GPU. It will do 4x IR for you in a number of games, and you can do 2x IR or 3x IR + 4xSSAA easily in most games. However, there are newer GPUs from Nvidia that cost the exact same amount as a GTX 550 Ti that are a bit more powerful and hence will let you crank up the graphical settings even more. If you can, try to buy one.

And I also wanted to point out that a lot of demanding games won't run full-speed at stock clock. However I guess 95% of people who get a "K" processor have the intention to overclock one day Big Grin
