The only real difference is what it looks like, but it's much cheaper. i am looking at the dell xps but xps with the same settings as urs is 1449$ and the alienware i custimzed is 1444$ i'am still looking tho

I really hate myself for saying this but if you desperately eager for a gaming Laptop, then I think the Alienware model you provided here is the most suitable one for you. Despite that it's an Alienware as I said earlier it have quite good specs after all. But keep us updated with new prospects you might come up with. Another option: With the 15% coupon Dell has on outlet... get a refurbished or scratch/dent Dell E6420 or E6520. i7 2.2Ghz (runs Dolphin at 2.9Ghz or better since turbo kicks in), I find the NVS 4200M works great for Dolphin... but it isn't great for other PC gaming. It is well suited to Wii emulation. it's a bit heavy and a bit dated (no USB 3.0 support), but damn good deal for $780 with free shipping! That's with a top-end wireless adapter (Intel 6300), Bluetooth (Wiimotes!), 9 cell battery, 3 year warranty. I'm just pointing out that there are far-less expensive high-quality laptops that run Dolphin well. 07-15-2011, 04:44 AM

I'm talking the next model, with 2.2Ghz base. I've compared both, side by side in laptops. |
