Will the next versions be faster?

I'm going to buy a new PC (2500K + GTX 560 Ti) and I saw that video with the same exact configuration: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rG5QC2tcovw

I'm surprised to see that NSMB. Wii is so slow. Right now I don't want to overclock and I wonder if it'll get better with the next releases.

Another thing: I read everywhere that Windows 7 64 Bits is good for that emulator. What does it mean? Does it increase its speed?
