Will radeon 4650 run dolphin?

Doesn't have to be drr compatible? Phew, that's a relief because I just wasn't sure about that part! I tried 3d ripper dx with my card, but it said I have to upgrade. My Direct X9 doesn't work on my driver (I tested it). Don't worry I've tested everything and for 35$ I think it's worth the bucks for an all around better card! Apparently, the card is a very good one and is rather compatible so I have hope that it will work. Thanks for the help.

Check that you have PCIex slot, usually old board only have agp slot, be careful.

hmmmm, looks like I only have a PCI slot but I think I need PCIe 2.0 for this graphics card.

There's also 3850 agp, not sure about the price though...

I'm sure any older board will have an agp slot moreso if he have pentium 4 but eh it's just a suggestion.

Good News, for the same price I can get a Nvidia GeForce 7300 GS for PCI, It has DX9 and Open GL 2.0 support so that should handle dolphin. Not as good as the other one, but anything is an upgrade. It's only 256Mb memory though. And I forget does Dolphin run on OGL 2.0 or 2.1?

Oooops, guess it's also a PCI express!!!! Back to the old drawing board....

The directx 9 video card like my 7300GT is not any good ,it displayed the graphic incorrectly in dolphin (might be some flash screen or wrong texture or black screen in the background ...txt).Better buy one support directx 10
BTW: @GundamQuatro I thought you buy Ati one ,not Nvidia 8600GTS.And how about your speed Smile
