6157 did not freeze up.
I posted the changelogs.

Good job in tracking down the revision where the save states went downhill.

I've made a change in r6880 that should fix this - I did not find any other bugs in r6158. Let me know if r6880 works or not.

6880 DID, I repeat DID fix this. YAAAAA

no they won't.

SaveState is secondary as a function. If it breaks; tough shit until it gets fixed.

looks like someone was wrongTongue

um, no. the change was not reverted, and the states are still not fully working.

Loadstate still causes audio to stop working sometimes. But the crashes are gone so I don't care.

This is really good news. Thank you very much, Skid. Great work!

Exactly! You can save and load fast, wherever you are. If you mess up, you can just re-do, without having to spend 15 minutes getting back to where you were. It's like Next.

It really would be nice, but maybe that's asking too much...

no, the audio states must be restored as well, but much of the latest dsp changes might need the audio state to be improved.

oh no savestates still are buggy

playing zelda WW, dx9,

if you load a game via memorycard, then do savestates and load them, they will work fine

if i start dolphin, then load a savestate, it does not work, and i do 4 savestates, none of them work, i have to load the game via memory card so i can do new savestates

in short.. do a memory card save if you are going to stop playing
