I'm not educated on the programming side of things what so ever so this question may sound terrible but is it a possibility that in the future a release of Dolphin will run all the games evenly without having to change settings? Like just launch and play title? Or will the emulating still require various settings for various set ups and games?

You generally don't? Most settings that particular games require are automatically set in the game's INI file.

Just in case they're needed. Some are also a matter of preference (enhancements, etc), and some may have speed/accuracy trade offs some users wish to make. If there's a game that requires a certain setting to work, that aren't set automatically, submit an issue report please.

I was just wondering it would ever be made like the console in that there's no real adjustments other than in the wii menu. Just turn on and play.

It's a nice thought but with over hundreds of thousands different setups used by users, it's not optimal.
And if Dolphin were to be like the Wii just turn on and play what graphical backend would it use? What sound output would it use?

What if they decided to go with your idea, and decided to use OpenGL with best graphical settings and DSP LLE only and you got sucky hardware?
It wouldn't be a pleasant experience that's for sure.

Dolphin is good the way it is, it's an emulator and a hell of a good one at that but if I want real GameCube/Wii experience I just plug the consoles in and use them instead.

If your PC is fast enough, just use D3D with EFB to RAM, virtual XFB, texture cache on safe with LLE audio. You would never have to touch the settings again if you can run every game fullspeed with those settings.

D3D has inferior emulation of EFB Pokes, so, several games wouldn't work correctly. And I know D3D has to do some things better than OGL. Also, what about games that use EFB Pokes for screen wide effects and effectively tank Dolphin's speed.
