Will it emulate at full speed?

I have:

Core 2 Duo 3.2GHz (6mb L2 cache, 1600mhz fsb)
8800GS
Win 7
2.5GB Ram
7200RPM hdd.

I know that these emulators are cpu crunchers, but will it run good on a fast dual core?

Out of interest, which makes more difference to the emulation speed, the CPU or the GPU? Eg would a decent core 2 duo with a weakish gfx card do better or worse than an older processor such as a athlon64 x2 with the latest and greatest from ATI or nvidia?

CPU, use a good CPU + any nvidia or ATI GPU

CPU makes most differences, graphic card is only displaying image on the screen.
