Your CPU is too weak for most games. Your GPU isn't good at all either.

Which games are you planning to play?

This game isn't very demanding. It should be playable

There's also a 30 fps hack for Melee that makes it run even lighter if you absolutely need to. Using the frameskip does something similar too, but not as efficient.

how do i enable the hack? im getting a huge slowdown even on the character select screen. any suggestion on the settings to make it fast?

Your "GPU" is FAR worse than your CPU in this case, try using an old version that supports less than 1x IR (3.0 should work), and then set your IR to 0.5x (Note: it will look horrible)
