Wiki contribution

Hey everyone,

Would love to make a contribution on the wiki page but I need to be an autoconfirmed user.
How do I become one? Do I just need to wait? If so how long will it take?

AFAIK you need to wait 3 days after creating a new account before you can edit anything. We recently got hit by a huge spam wave and needed to harden wiki access, sorry for the inconvenience. Let me know if you still can't edit pages after waiting the 3 days.

I have waited 6 days and cannot edit any pages. The following message is displayed above the edit box if I click on "View source":
