Is there any build yet that would play Megaman 9 properly? I have tried couple of builds from 2400-2500 (which play nicely otherwise but music has some problems and background flickers), and the newest builds (which do not play the game properly at all).. Would be nice to be able to play MM9 from my PC too..

Megaman 9 started to work in the last revision, but no matter how many fps you can get, the game feels super slow O_o

yeah. megaman 9 is playable now. but the screen flickers like hell. you can get faster speeds by turning off the sound.

In order to stop the flickering you must enable real XFB in OGL menu options . But the speed is the same, I reach 60fps without any problems but the game feels slow as hell as I said before

Megaman 9 just crashes when I try to load it in R4746M now, maybe it's a side effect of recently installing my NAND but I don't know.

confirmed. do not play this game with OGL yet. the game goes super slow. instead use DX9 as it loads much faster.

is there no way to make the "real XFB" option work in DX9? Cuz then I think the game would have the PERFECT status.
Also it would surely be a pre-emptive fix for Megaman 10 ^^

not quite perfect yet. you can't run the game with higher resolution than 640x480. i don't know whether this happens to OGL as well.

To me, OGL looks miles better than DirectX in this game. However, even though OGL seems to run at constant 59.9fps, gameplay is slow. If I remove all framelimits and audio throttles, I get to run the game at 100-120fps, and then it runs at about correct speed. Music plays then too fast however, and the fps isn't steady so it's really not playable. It also seems as some colors are not correct in stages (in real Wii some backgrounds might have 3 different colors while in Dolphin the whole background is just one color).
DirectX in this game looks very bad in my setup, game really does not look like Megaman at all when using it, it's so blocky. 01-15-2010, 03:17 PM
i just tried this game and its works ok in Dx9 but the flickering problem omg! if u lower the speedlimiter the flickering isnt that bad, but the game is slow XD
