WiiU Gamecube Adapter and Dolphin

I've been using the Game Cube adapter with my computer for about six months now, and I was able to play Wii/Gamecube games with it just fine. I hadn't used it in a while, so I thought I would play some melee again. I plugged in the adapter and dolphin wouldn't take any inputs. I ran the Gamecube USB Adapter Driver - v3.2.1 and it says GCN Adapter not detected. I tried running the installation again with vJoy installer and Zadig, which both said it works. Any help? I'm using dolphin version 4.0 - 9450 with Windows 10.

There is an option under the controller to select the Gamecube Adapter.

That is always there, but when you configure it does it say it is detected?

Yeah, sorry. It says Adapter Not Detected.
