The official Wiki shows that Android supports the adapter with no configuration, however, I cannot get mine to work. I plug it in and start Dolphin and Dolphin sees the adapter is there. I allow Dolphin to use the adapter but the controllers do not work. The controllers are set to Gamecube Adapter as well. Is anyone else having issues with it? Am I missing a step on setting it up?

I tried an older version to configure the controller but that did not work either.

Are you running a game that supports Gamecube controller input?
I tested this just a couple of days ago and it still worked for me.

To my knowledge that would be yes. The game was Mario Kart Double Dash (Gamecube). I can plug the adapter into my computer and use the controller on the game. I am using the Nvidia Shield TV on the latest Android Update. I was also trying the latest dev build of Dolphin.

Same problem here with Nvidia Shield TV. I have bought "mayflash Gamecube Controller Adapter for WII U & PC", which supports Dolphin Emulator.

If I use old GUI 4.0-8768 and I configure manually the controller, R & L trigger buttons don't work.

If I use the last build and change to "Gamecube adapter" it doesn't work.

I almost forget.... I use it with Gamecube Games (100% compatibility with Gamecube gamepad)

Maybe is a part of the incomplete/buggy new UI

Don't put the Wii U adapter in PC mode. Run it in Wii U mode for Dolphin on both Android and Windows.
There's a limitation in the Android OS that a gamepad can only have so many axises(32 maximum per gamepad I think?) and the Mayflash adapter in PC mode shows all four GC controllers as a /single/ controller, which blows way past the maximum number of axises. This causes things like triggers tot fail on some controllers, C-stick to fail on others, and main stick to fail on others still.

Set it to Wii U mode, in the new UI set it to use the Gamecube Controller adapter, on game start there will be a permissions dialog that pops up, say yes to allow access to the adapter.

It works! Thank you very much, Sonicadvance1!

I'm wondering... can I use this (mayflash + gamecube pad) as a classic controller for Wii games (Pro evolution soccer games), or I need something like a Wiimote?

In other words, How can I emulate a classic controller for wii games with a nvidia controller or gamecube pad?

Thanks!

Paskuator, You can run games like Mario Kart Wii and Mortal Kombat Armageddon that use the gamecube controller. Not the _classic_ controller, though... The list of games that use it is here- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Wii_games_that_use_the_Nintendo_GameCube_controller - Metal Slug didn't work cuzz it wanted the + button instead of start. This is prolly cuzz I had Wiimotes 1 & 2 set to Mayflash Bar instead of Null. Mario Kart Wii and Mortal Kombat Armageddon work fine.

Extra info: K instead of C in Kart and Kombat? Klassy and Klassic!
Here's the classic controller games list https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_games_that_use_the_Classic_Controller -for no good reason.

Thanks rclong!

So... for Wii "classic controller" games, I can't use a standar gamepad Sad Maybe we need a dolphin bar for these games.

I have tried this on several games. and on the latest Dev Build too. I tried it on Mario Kart Double Dash, Freedom Fighters, Pikmin and Mario Tennis. When the game starts it asks to use my USB device, I tell it yes. Still cannot use the controller. I have all of the controllers set to use the Gamecube Adapter. I have the official Nintendo Adapter and it works on my PC. I also have official Nintendo Gamecube controllers that all work as well.

Am I missing a step or a setting?

I wasn't able to get this working either. I think I have to try this with the debugger sometimes...
