I've exhausted my google searching abilities and have come up short. Will dolphin work with iso's that have been put through wiiscrubber?

Is it worth using wiiscrubber to compress ripped games? Like does it reduce the file by a decent amount and does it affect dolphins ability to play games properly?
Also how does it compare to dolphins compress iso feature?

to answer your question is use both
well my method is to use wiiscrubber to trim the iso and then compress to gcz using dolphin. 12-07-2010, 06:53 AM
Uh... if I'm not mistaken, Dolphin's compression should do the same stuff like wiiscrubber anyway, so there's no point in using both.

well when i use both there is a slight difference in compression size

I've to warn you, that the WiiScrubber (v1.4) also can damage the rom. So I stopped using it and only use Dolphin's .gcz compression anymore.
Sole damage I could realize was with House Of The Dead, wher the game says "Save failed." at the start and the player has to "Continue without saving"... (Used Trim method, Keep Headers and tried it with Scrub Type both "0xFF" and "Trucha" [what's the difference?]) |
