Wiimotion plus + ASUS USB-BT211 problem

Hey guys, I'm new to both the forum and Dolphin and I have an issue.
Dolphin was working with a Wiimote and Toshiba Stack 9.00.03 thanks to this guide, but after deinstalling because the Wiimote didn't recognize the sensor bar, Toshiba Stack doesn't acknowledge my bluetooth adapter anymore. I have a built in adapter on my Asus P8Z68-V motherboard and like I said it has worked. I edit the tosrfusb.inf file to contain my device (%TosrfUsb.DeviceDesc150%=TosrfUsb_Device, USB\VID_0B05&PID_179C) but the install gets stuck at the screen to PLUG IN the device. Therefore I cannot use Bluetooth Assistant. How can I get Toshiba Stack to acknowledge my bluetooth adapter like before?
The Wiimote can be added to Windows (I'm using 7) via Devices and Printers and is hence known as Nintendo RVL-CNT-01-TR. Just sometimes it still pairs with Dolphin via the Pair Up function, but then I don't get the first light to glow so I cannot use it.

WTF, it suddenly installed... I don't know why, but Toshiba Stack 8.00.02 finally decided to acknowledge my usb adapter.
Now the next challenge. I can get the Wiimote to connect, but as soon as it's connected, but the green-yellow hooks (which say there is a live connection) drop immediately after finding the device.

Also, what do you guys do after the 30-day trial is expired?


EDIT: following this post, I got the Wiimote to connect after the reset: pressing 1+2, leave for after blink, then connect via Toshiba Stack by selecting connect and pressing A. Dolphin recognized it immediately .

EDIT 2: Bloody hell, the sensor bar is now also recognized . I just tried Zelda: SS and it worked immediately .

I've been a long time user of Dolphin, first time posting.

Hopefully I'm not reviving an expired thread, but my post fits the topic
and I'd hope to find advice from people with experience in this topic.

I've managed to install the ASUS BT211 dongle with the toshiba drivers, However the Toshiba utility always switches
to the internal Bluetooth module instead of using the dongle. When disabling the internal (Atheros) bluetooth,
and inserting the dongle, the Toshiba Ulity will start up the internal bluetooth adapter regardless.

I've even removed the internal drivers, and removed the internal drivers entry in the tosrfusb.inf but it installs regardless.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Two years old? You bet you did.

As for your problem, the Toshiba Stack is a full bluetooth stack, with even more features than the MS bluetooth stack (hence why -TRs need it), so you don't need the internal bluetooth if you are using the Toshiba Stack. I suggest you just disable the internal bluetooth in the device manager.

Since there have been so many issues with this USB dongle (USB-BT211).. To let it install, you need athdfu.* and AtherosBT.bin from the Asus drivers. Place AtherosBT.bin in C:\Windows\System32\Drivers (change drive letter as needed), then install the athdfu driver (Atheros Valkyrie BootROM - USB\VID_0CF3&PID_3000 for me).

What happens: The Boot ROM driver loads AtherosBT.bin into the USB dongle, then it disables itself, and enables Bluetooth (ie: USB\VID_0CF3&PID_3002). From there, you can install the Toshiba stack (or the normal one). Without the Boot ROM, there is no Bluetooth hardware, so installations fail.
