Wiimotes won't work on Dolphin for mac

I've been trying to connect my wiimote through the latest versions of Dolphin on my mac but it won't take it. Is there a problem or something.

KLnown issue, there is a PR open that supposedly fixes it though

Wii Remotes are known to not work when Dolphin is running in High Sierra. A fix is in progress at https://github.com/dolphin-emu/dolphin/pull/6234
