This seems to be a well known fact, but I would like someone in the Dev world to comment. IT seems real wiimote support is flaky at best in builds newer than approx 6970, and from what i understand this is due to the implementation somewhere around that build of wiimote audio.

I can run < 50% of games on newer builds all because real wiimote's drop out. This is broken in 3.0, but back at 6970 everything works.

Is there any conceivable way to have a new build with the old wiimote drivers / components.. Wiimote audio IMHO is really a waste of time to implement, I was so happy to see its possible to turn off the wiimote motor & volume to zero... but it doesnt fix the issue.

If not, are the Dev's able to comment that this is a know issue .. that at some point will have a resolution .. as it would seem a pretty important one to me?

I'm not a Dev but the wiimote audio is a step toward making dolphin as close to the real thing (which is the goal of the project) and removing it would be a degradement, if you could, write your own dolphin version
......?????
