Wiimote wont stay on after pairing in windows settings

So im trying to play wii games but the wiimote wont stay on after i pair it to windows and dolphin wont detect it. whats going on?

Don't pair wii remotes with windows, it actually gets in the way of Dolphin communicating with it! So make sure to remove that pairing. Once you have done that, follow the proceedure outlined here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=Configuring_Controllers#Real_Wiimote
