Okay, so I have a Mac Mini with a dual boot setup between Mac OS X Lion and Windows 7. The controller I'm using is a mini Wiimote and Nuncheck that I think is made by Rocketfish.
On the Windows side, I can get the Wiimote to connect and begin playing games with it, but after a few moments (about five minutes or so) it says that it has lost communication with the remote and that I must press A without pressing anything else. No matter what I press, it won't reconnect so I must restart the game.
On the Mac OS X side, I just can't get Dolphin to recognize the remote at all. I can clearly see that the remote is connected and recognized by the operating system, but Dolphin just won't pick it up. I don't have the "pair" button that shows up in the Windows version of the application, and the remote just keeps flashing without doing anything.
If anyone knows how to solve either or both of these problems, let me know. I've heard that the Toshiba bluetooth stack helps some people, so I will try that once I boot into Windows again, but since I use Mac OS more I would really like to be able to use the Wiimote with that version.
Thanks in advance.
Update: I got the Wiimote connected on the Mac version using these instructions and now the 'player one' led is glowing, but when I load Super Mario Galaxy 2 it immediately tells me that communications with the Wiimote have been interrupted. Unlike the Windows versions, it won't even let me play for a few minutes before giving me this message.
